Bespin-class Airhook
manufactured by Longspur and Alloi, the Bespin was a small, single-person airhook used for travelling in a planet's atmosphere. The Bespin-class airhook measured just under two meters in length, and was designed to accommodate a single rider. These vehicles were armed with a single laser cannon, which was used primarily for defense against Bespin's airborne creatures, but were also used for firefights. The design for the Bespin-class airhook, which had been produced for many decades before the Battle of Naboo, became the basis for the STAP that was produced by the Trade Federation.
