Verbon, Hesh
this imposing woman served as the portmaster and chief administrator of Kwilaan Starport during the period leading up to the Battle of Naboo. A native of Naboo, Verbon was not an adherent to the ideals of the rest of the population. In many respects, she was simply criminal. She obtained her position as portmaster through an association with Senator Palpatine, although no direct link was ever discovered between them. She was also not above taking a bribe to overlook certain underhanded affairs, although she tried to ensure that her commitments to the Bureau of Ship Services were always met.
