Yashuvhi
this branch of mainline human stock was cut off from the rest of the galaxy many millennia before the Galactic Civil War. A Jedi Knight and his crew were exploring the Unknown Regions when an accident brought their ship out of hyperspace. The crew survived, and settled on the planet Yashuvhu. Lacking the technology to repair the ship, the Jedi and the crew were cut off from the rest of the galaxy but nonetheless managed to survive and prosper. The descendents of the original crew were all sensitive to the Force, having the Jedi as their main forebears. The Yashuvhi were discovered by the crew of the Pathfinder III during the century leading up to the Battle of Naboo.
