this Caamasi was one of the few members of his species to become a Jedi Knight. A golden-furred humanoid with purple facial stripes, Ylenic was assigned to work with Aayla Secura in recovering Ratri Tane from Corellia. There, Ylenic worked with his old friend, Nejaa Halcyon, to ensure that Aayla's mission was a success, despite the mysterious circumstances under which it was carried out. Shortly after the Clone Wars, Ylenic and Nejaa were dispatched to stop Nikkos Tyris, who had stumbled upon ancient Sith lore. Although the Jedi succeeded in eliminating the Sith threat, Nejaa was killed in the struggle. Ylenic then flew to Corellia to deliver Nejaa's personal belongings to his widow, Scerra. Years later, he served as one of Bail Organa's chief advisors during the early years of the New Order. Ylenic was part of the Alderaanian delegation which travelled to Cloud City to meet with Bria Tharen. Unfortunately for thr Caamasi, Ylenic was on Alderaan when it was destroyed by the first Death Star. It'kla died in the blast.
