Measuring up to 60 centimeters in height, the quadripedal yeomets can consume almost any material, and they sought out food with incredible tenacity. Their ability to dig through almost anything makes them a pest and a nuisance, especially on space-going vessels. The yeomets are also known to carry a variety of diseases. They are timid when first encountered, but will attack if necessary. Their teeth are not sharp, but their jaws are incredibly strong and can inflict blunt trauma in addition to passing on whatever diseases they carried. They sleep in huge piles, with pregnant females always on the bottom to assist in labor and delivery.
