this elder Baroness of Tapani sector's House Melantha was a member of the aristocracy during the last years of the Old Republic. She believed that Tapani Sector was the last vestige of culture in the known galaxy, especially after the rise of Emperor Palpatine. Although she would never have openly criticized Palpatine, she held the New Order in disdain.
