Wingsong
this primitive form of communication is used by the S'krrr. They rub their vestigial wings together and create a series of tonal inflections which form a crude language. The hums and buzzes of wingsong are formed by manipulating the speed and pressure applied to each wing. The sound of the wingsong is what gives the S'krrr their name. The Corellians who discovered the Ishanna System thought that the insectoids' wingsong made a "s'krrr" sound. The use of wingsong is mainly found in S'krrr poetry, where it lends a beautiful sound to the story being told.
