this ancient man was the leader of House Calipsa during the height of the New Order. At the age of 108, he was confined to a repulsorchair and had to govern his province with the help of a great number of advisors and representatives. He was known for his shrewd sense of business, and his dealings with other Houses helped Calipsa survive the politcal and economic upheavals during the end of the Old Republic and the Galactic Civil War.
