an ancient mechanical robot equipped with weapons and sent into battle in place of living warriors, war droids were used with the most effectiveness by Xim the Despot. Largely unstoppable at their creation, war droids were three meters tall and roughly humanoid in shape. They were armed with a pair of pulse cannons,and were protected by heavy armor plating coated with a kiirium sheen. During the time of the New Republic, the Scavs have salvaged a number of them and use them as protection devices.
