Wander-kelp
native to Chad III, this form of plantlife had minimal intelligence, enough to tell it when to migrate with the currents. It was one of the forms of plants that were harvested by the water farmers on the planet. When the wander-kelp was "mating," it glowed with a bioluminescent light that shone like an oil slick on fire. Their iodine-filled leaves were harvested for their medicinal value, while the discarded biomass was used to feed the various fish that were bred.
