Vultan
a humanoid race characterized by its thin frame and it unusual cranium, the Vultans were native to the planet Vulta. Their heads seemed to be a mass of twisted appendages or convoluted skin folds instead of hair. In reality, these fold were simply a cartilaginous net which protected their brains. In females of the Vultan race, this cartilage pointed outward, away from the skull like horns. They tended to have yellowish skin. It was believed that the Vultans evolved from baseline human stock, when the planet Vulta was first visited by explorers shortly after the invention of the hyperdrive. As a people, the Vultans were enamored with the latest in trends and fashions, and were known for their skills in creating and manipulating technology.
