Void Droid
this is a term used to describe any droid which is left behind when a starship is abandoned in space. The droids on board are usually left behind as well,by sentients who simply don't understand the automata. These droids, without proper maintenance, programming, or frames of reference, go insane. It is at the point of insanity that a void droid is created. Void droids raid other, less fortunate droids for their parts and lubricants, and will attack other droids in a mechanical feeding frenzy.
