these reptilian creatures live in the vines on such planets as Wayland and Dagobah. They resemble pythons of various sizes, and hang motionless in the vines which grow in swamps and jungles. From this position, vine snakes drop onto their prey, quickly wrapping their thick bodies around their victims and constricting them. The prey eventually dies of suffocation, and the vine snake then eats it whole.
