this man was an Alliance agent, and a friend of Do'naal. This friendship cost him his position with the Alliance, as Do'naal was actually an Imperial agent working to ferret out rebellious individuals. Vewin was captured and interrogated on Kelada, and was subsequently considered a security risk to the Alliance.
