this weapon, created by the Gree Varat'k, is used to protect the vast starship known as the Rokak'k Baran. It is not a blaster-type weapon, but instead manipulated a generated forcefield into wind-like energy bolts. When rakes across the surface of an enemy ship, it can effectively vaoprize the enemy with blasts of energy.
