this Arconan was the owner of Spaceport Speeders, in Mos Eisley. When he died, his role was taken up by another Arconan who was fleeing from the Empire. This Poll was a refugee fleeing the battles of the Galactic Civil War, in which the Empire murdered his wife and children. A quirky old codger with a heart of gold, the new Poll was also secretly sheltering homeless Arconans, giving them new identities away from Imperial eyes. Unut was not happy when Wioslea bought Luke Skywalker's old landspeeder for 2,000 credits, but worked through his anger.
