these automata were designed to be the ultimate fighting machines, capable of bringing to bear an incredible range of firepower. Developed in the Kol Huro System twelve years before the Battle of Naboo, the series failed because the power supplies available to its designers were insufficient to provide the droid with locomotion. The droids had too much weaponry added to their frames to move about. They were well over four meters in height, when laid out on the ground, and were incredibly dumb machines.
