Two-headed Tortuce
native to the planet Canastra IV, this two-headed amphibian was one of the few multi-brained creatures found in the Core region. Resembling a turtle with two necks, the two-headed tortuce had several different subspecies, each adapted to a different biosphere. One species lived deep in the ocean, while another lived on land. They lacked any real predators, and could live for more than 100 standard years. While not aggressive, tortuces were killed for their tasty flesh. This harvest was made simple by the fact that they lived in large groups and were generally slow-moving. The government of Canastra IV has tried unsuccessfully to ban the harvest of this unusual creature.
