this Advozse warlord was active some 200 years before the Battle of Naboo. He was infamous for sweeping onto undefended planets and taking control of them for himself. His activities were made known to the Jedi Knights of the day, and the Jedi Council dispatched Polvin Kut and his apprentice, Yaddle, to the planet Koba, where Tulak had recently taken control. Tulak knew of Polvin Kut, since he had killed Kut's parents years before. Tulak was able to defeat Polvin Kut in battlem beheading the human Jedi before capturing Yaddle. He interrogated Yaddle about the Jedi Council's intentions toward him, but she refused to break. In return, Tulak imprisoned her in an underground chamber. He sealed the chamber, and then set off toplunder more planets. He eventually died, and left everything - including the planets like Koba - to his son, Kalut.
