this vicious creatures were native to the planet Korriban. Over many millennia, the tuk'ata were twisted by the Dark Side of the Force, and became guardians of the Sith temples which were built on the planet. These beasts were huge, jet-black things with four sturdy legs, a pair of thin, insectile arms sprouting from atop their shoulders, and four claw-like tendrils emerging from their foreheads. The mouth of a tuk'ata was filled with three rows of teeth, and its head was protected by three horns. The arms of the tuk'ata were generally considered to be vestigial wings, and were tipped with poisonous stingers. The poison acted on contact, numbing any flesh it touched. When injected into a being's body, the poison shut down muscles and other vital systems, including the heart and lungs, leading to a swift and painful death.
