this Sakiyan was an associate of Lorn Pavan. Tuden owed Pavan a debt of gratitude because it was Pavan who got Sakiyan a wealth of business selling liquor to a successful chain of Coruscant restaurants. The business made Tuden rich, and he never forgot Pavan's help. When Pavan was in trouble trying to escape Darth Maul, Tuden arranged for a driver to pick of Pavan and his droid, I-5YQ. Tuden also arranged for Pavan to obtain an ARE Thixian Seven, which Pavan planned to use to finish his battle with Maul. Before he left, though, Pavan turned control of I-5YQ over to Tuden so that the information the droid contained could be brought to the attention of the Jedi Knights. The Sakiyan was both honored and pleased, because he had been coveting the droid for some time for his own use.
