Tsil
this is the word used to describe the crystalline rock formations found on the planet Nam Chorios. Those tsil formed from Spook crystals were acutally sentient spires of rock. The tsils were the source of Force-sensitivity among the settlers on the planet, but their ability to channel electricity earned them the notice of Loronar Corporation. Loronar harvested tsil crystals for use in their Centrally Controlled Independent Replicant (CCIR) technology. When it was discovered that the tsils were actually sentient, Loronar was severely reprimanded by the New Republic, and those CCIR devices which were already in use had to be recovered in order for the tsils to be replaced with inorganic crystals.
