a Lieutenant in the Imperial Navy, Tschel served under Captain Pellaeon aboard the Chimaera during the reign of Grand Admiral Thrawn, some five years after the Battle of Endor. At the time, Tschel was one of the many inexperienced officers serving under Captain Pellaeon, as well as one of the most easily excited. After Thrawn's death, Tschel continued to serve Pellaeon, rising in rank a Major and serving as Pellaeon's chief bridge officer during Pellaeon' struggle with Moff Disra.
