this Duros owned a used starship lot on the planet Tralus during the early years of the New Order. Han Solo tried to sell the Talisman to Toryn, who was aware of the fact that the ship was listed as stolen. He could only offer Han a scrap-metal price for the ship, since it was stolen property, but offered to give a little more if Han would tell him a story. Han was in a hurry, and passed on the story, but took the scrap price in cash. Five years later, after Han was dishonorably discharged from the Imperial armed forces for rescuing Chewbacca, Toryn gave the young man a job as a pilot and repairman.
