this was a Huttese unit of money, and was in prominent use in the Outer Rim Territories during the last decades of the Old Republic. One trugut was equal to about 10 standard credits. Note that in the screenplay for Star Wars:Episode I - The Phantom Menace, this unit was referred to as wupiupi.
