this Twi'leki smuggler was an acquaintance of Platt Okeefe, and worked often for the Alliance as well as the New Republic. He owned the Luudrian Star, which he used to run weapons in the Mid and Outer Rims. As a youth on Ryloth, Tru'eb aspired to become a member of the headclan of Kala'uun, his home city. He hoped to arm the Twi'leks and allow them to resist the slavers who continually raided their planet. As he learned more about the politics of Kala'uun, he found that Ku'amar - his own cousin - had been secretly plotting to take control of the city for himself. However, despite his pleas, Tru'eb was outcast and was sold into slavery to Big Quince. However, Quince used Tru'eb more as a personal servant than a slave. Tru'eb, for all his loyalty to Big Quince, continually schemed to escape. His plans were furthere when he met a yougn slavefirl named Platt Okeefe. They stole Quince's personal shuttle and fled. Platt later paid Tru'eb for his help in escaping from Big Quince, and he used the money to buy the Luudrian Star. Both Tru'eb and Platt were working on Zelos II, and had hired Dirk Harkness to help, when they discovered the hidden Imperial garrison there. They tipped the New Republic to the garrison's location, but Harkness went in to ensure the base was destroyed. He was captured in the attempt, and the Republic's forces were virtually wiped out. Platt and Tru'eb eventually rescued Harkness, since both believed he was a good man, and also rescued Jai Raventhorn.
