headquartered on the outskirts of Calamar, on the planet Esseles, this starship manufacturer was owned by Boll Trinkatta. Trinkatta was contracted to develop and build fifty hyperdrive-equipped droid fighters shortly before the Battle of Naboo. The Jedi Council sent Adi Gallia to investigate who paid Trinkatta to build them, but she disappeared. Much of the facility in Calamar was controlled by droids, with minimal human involvement. When Boll Trinkatta learned that the starfighters were Xi Charran designs commissioned by the Trade Federation, he refused to help and was also imprisoned when Bartokk assassins re-programmed the factory's droids to eliminate any resistance. It was later revealed that Darth Sidious himself had ordered the manufacture of the droid starfighters, as part of a plan to seize control of the plant Brentaal, thereby controlling the Hydian Way and the Perlemian Trade Route.
