this starship design was produced by Merkuni Drives during the last years of the Old Republic, and its use continued well into the era of the New Order. The Trenchant-class measured 215 meters in length,and had an angular hull. It required a crew of 140, with twenty gunners and room to transport up to 80 troops. It could carry up to 400 metric tons of cargo, and was armed with six turbolaser cannons and eight quad-laser cannons.
