this planet was situated in the middle of the Elrood-Derilyn Trade Route, and was the last free stop along the run during the Empire's control of Elrood Sector. It was the primary world in the Torina System, located in the Elrood Sector. Much of the espionage that occurred in the sector during the Galactic Civil War was based on Torina. Its primary exports were cheap imitations of most products; many of the goods produced on Torina break down after they are purchased. It was the homeworld of the Torine race of near-humans, and was the site of several land-based and orbital starports.
