this stoic Gotal served as one of Mon Mothma's aides during the early years of the New Republic. Like all Gotals, Tolokai's sensitive horns allowed him to receive vibrations and eminations from those around him. This allowed him to anticipate any attacks which might be aimed at Mon Mothma. During a short break from his official duties, Tolokai was targeted by agents of Warlord Zsinj, who brainwashed him into believing Mon Mothma was an enemy as part of Project Funeral. The desire to kill her was activated by a seemingly inane phrase, and Tolokai tried to kill her with a hidden vibroblade. However, one of her other aides, Malan Tugrina, took the blade in his chest, diverting Tolokai's attack long enough for Mon Mothma to call for a security detail. Then Malan used the last of his strength to tackle Tolokai, and they tumbled down a flight of stairs. Malan died from loss of blood, while Tolokai was killed when his neck snapped in the fall.
