this Gungan General was in command of the entire Gungan army, and reported directly to Boss Nass. During the Battle of Naboo, Ceel was forced to defer to Boss Nass' wish that Jar Jar Binks be also named as a General, but would not let the bumbling Gungan hold any real duties. Ceel and his officers devised the plan of attack that had the Gungans draw out and detain the Trade Federation's droid army, while allowing Queen Amidala and her small force to infiltrate the city of Theed and capture Nute Gunray and Rune Haako. The battle waged on in an even sort of match until the droid army managed to knock out the heavy Gungan shields. At this point, Ceel ordered a full retreat, hoping to regroup his forces and attack again. However, the droid army swept over them and prevented a full retreat. The Gungans were saved when nine-year-old Anakin Skywalker and Bravo Squadron destroyed the Neimoidian droid control ship, rendering their immense battle force inoperative.
