Tiss'sharl League
this political body governs the Tiss'shar society, and was made up from politicians and business owners whose firms posted the highest profits during the previous five years. The League was presided over by a president and vice president, each of whom was chosen from the ranks of the League's general council. During the millennia leading up to the Galactic CivilWar, the Tiss'sharl League prospered as it oversaw the production of high-tech weaponry and new environmental technologies. However, the price of this success was often death. Many Tiss'shar coveted the positions of leadership on the League's council, and achieved promotions within the League via assassination, although this was never publicly discussed.
