Thyte, Darryn
a member of the FarStar's crew, Thyte was distinguished by his cybernetic arm. He was a former Alliance starfighter pilot who had lost the arm when his X-Wing was shot down over Vaenrood. The only available prosthetic was a clunky, unwieldy device with little dexterity, forcing Darryn to relinquish his position as a pilot and join the ranks of the operations crew. This left him with a bad attitude and sour disposition, which turned to anger when he first met Ranna Gorjaye. He resented the fact that she was still flying, and boasting about how much fun she was having. However, during his tenure aboard the FarStar, he began to soften up toward Ranna.
