one of the few humans who lived on Mechis III, Hekis was the manufacturing administrator on the planet when IG-88 arrived after escaping the Holowan Laboratories. A vain man, Hekis added mythical titles to his name each time he felt unappreciated by his superiors, making his own signature appear more important. His droid, 3D-4X, delivered his afternoon tea on schedule, along with a datapad containing production data, on the day IG-88 arrived. 3D-4X also delivered a pair of blaster bolts which quickly killed the Administrator, on orders from IG-88 to leave no organic life on the planet.
