this was the fateful battle in which Xim the Despot was finally defeated by Hutt forces, many years before the formation of the Old Republic. Xim had fought valiantly for several other battles, in an effort to take the planet, but a stalemate persisted. Eventually, Kossak the Hutt used a battle group formed from Vodran, Nikto, and Klatooinan forces to overcome Xim's legions, both on and above the planet Vontor.
