Testing Screen
this device, also known as an image emitter, was developed by the Jedi Council to test the telepathic abilities of Jedi trainees. It had no buttons or controls, and was manipulated solely via the Force. Contained in the memory banks of the screen were thousands of pictures, which could be displayed randomly or chosen by the user through the Force. This assured that a trainee couldn't oversee what the Master was doing, and guess at a correct answer. Using the screen, a Master could project into it a succession of images, which the trainee would have to interpret via their connection to the Force.
