this Imperial Captain commanded the 37th Imperial Fighter Wing aboard the Abrogator during the early years of the New Order. He was in command of the fleet which subdued the Lortan fanatics during the Reslian Purge. However, his pilots felt no loyalty to him during the battles because Tessra was a few weeks from completing his tour of duty, and held back in order to avoid being killed. His place as leader of the 37th was eventually taken by Soontir Fel, and Tessra was given command of a group sent to destroy several Alliance outposts. However, many of his missions ended in failure, and he was re-assigned to the 37th. Fel stepped aside to allow Tessra to take command, while Fel opted to remain a pilot.
