this Phindian woman was Baftu's assistant. She was in charge of securing the Syndicat's stronghold in the city of Laressa. She also was suspicious of Duenna's loyalties, but kept the Phindian woman in check with continued threats of renewal. It was later revealed that Terra was the sister of Guerra and Paxxi Derida. She had been "renewed" by the Syndicat at the age of eleven, and retrained by Baftu himself to be a member of the Syndicat. Her mother, Duenna, joined the Syndicat in hopes of returning her original memories to her, but Terra was not strong enough. Terra opposed Baftu's proposed alliance with Prince Beju of Gala, fearing that the Prince was getting more than the Syndicat, and that Baftu was spreading his power too thin. Baftu ignored her, even when she recognized that the Prince Beju who arrived on Phindar was really Obi-Wan Kenobi in disguise. When Baftu discovered that the Syndicat treasury was gone - having been recovered by Qui-Gon Jinn and the Derida brothers and returned to the Phindians - he accused Terra of stealing and covering the theft up by blaming Beju. Baftu had her executed on the spot. When her body was discovered later by Guerra and Paxxi, she died in their arms with a flood of memories about them.
