this planet was known for its technological innovations, much of which was developed in the centuries following the Great Sith War. During the Sith War, the planet was sundered by Darth Malak, and much of its surface was destroyed. Left alone, Telos regenerated itself into a beautiful world, with many natural wonders which drew a steady tourist trade, as well as a great deal of commerce. About twelve years before the Battle of Naboo, the former Jedi Knight Xanatos turned the planet upside down by scheming to rape it of its resources in return for personal power. Only the intervention of Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi thwarted Xanatos' plans, and helped return the planet to its rightful government.
