this starship design was manufactured by the Tapani Starship Cooperative during the early years of the New Order. Also classified as an assault frigate, these ships were armed with twenty laser cannons, fifteen turbolaser batteries, and six quad-laser batteries. The Tapani-class cruiser measured 750 meters in length, and was crewed by 3,550 officers and 114 gunners. It could transport up to 800 troops and 12,500 metric tons of cargo.
