this mega-corporation was based on the planet Javis, in Tapani Sector, and was sponsored and totally controlled by House Mecetti. TamCo was originally based in the Mid Rim, but moved to Tapani Sector to reduce the cost of the raw materials it needed to produce transparisteel and construction materials such as ferrocrete. When it needed money, TamCo took a loan from House Mecetti, and was unable to break free of Mecetti's control after Mecetti ensured that TamCo would default on the loan.
