Tallon Roll
the starfighter combat maneuver was designed by Adar Tallon, to help pilots compensate if they overshoot their target. The attacking craft closes too quickly on its target, and overshoots it. The Tallon Roll can then be used, as the attacker first levels out, then pulls the nose of his ship upward in a tight spiral. The defender is then the ship which overshoots. The maneuver is often dangerous, as it can temporarily disorient the attacking pilot.
