Tagge, Cassio
this Imperial General was part of Tarkin's support staff, serving as the tactician in charge of the first Death Star's defenses. Tagge was also in command of the Army forces deployed on the battle station. He was worried about the growth of the Rebellion and its possession of the plans to the first Death Star, for he had discovered the flawed exhaust port an knew its significance. However, he lacked the personality and courage to speak out about it. He was described as slimy and noisome. Tagge was later killed when the Alliance was able to destroy the first Death Star.
