the Alliance once tried to seize the Imperial garrison on this planet. The Alliance commanding officer kept his troops outside weapons range which flying sorties over the garrison. Unfortunately for the Alliance, the team which was supposed to jam Imperial communications failed to complete their tasks. The Imperial commander called for reinforcements, and an Imperial-class Star Destroyer bombarded the Alliance forces into submisson.
