Stardust Plan
this was the codename of the New Republic's plan to locate the cloaked asteroids deposited in orbit around Coruscant by Grand Admiral Thrawn, some five years after the Battle of Endor. It involved first dispersing dust from a cargo ship's hold into space, then irradiating the dust with negative ions to help track the hidden asteroids. It managed to locate an asteroid on its first attempt, but was deemed to be too slow to be efficient.
