Baradium
a powerful but unstable synthetic element, baradium was used as the primary explosive in thermal detonators. When ignited, the baradium generated a particle field around the exploding particles which were being emitted from the detonator. Most thermal detonators could generate a five-meter sphere, which meant that the baradium was capable of incinerating everything inside a five-meter diameter sphere centered on its source. Everything outside the sphere was undamaged, as the sphere would eventually collapse when the baradium was spent.
