this young starfighter pilot served the Alliance at Dantooine, in the years leading up to the Battle of Yavin. A disciplined and controlled pilot, he successfully led Alliance forces in a victory against the Empire about a year before the destruction of the first Death Star. This victory earned him the rank of Captain.
