an intelligent race of arachnids from the planet Sisk, these black aliens have hard outer shells, eight eyes, and eight 6-jointed legs. They are a highly anitsocial race, and have been unable to form a coherent government or any form of industrialization. However, they do have an advanced technology (which they consider to be better than anyone else's), and use it to capture their prey. The poison used in the Sic-six' fangs, while deadly to other members of its species and other creatures native to Sisk, is valued throughout the galaxy as an intoxicant by other races. They are descended from a race of web-lingerers which simply lunged around waiting for prey to become entangled. However, as the star Sisk collapsed and cooled their homeworld, the Sic-Six were forced to begin foraging for food. Eventually, they became the intelligent, sophisticated hunters they are today.
