Shroud
this was the name used by the New Republic to describe the Ghtroc 720 freighter it modified for use by Luke Skywalker. It was named for the covert shroud maneuver, for which the ship became famous. The Republic's technicians gutted the basic Ghtroc 720 and chopped a landing bay inside its hold area. Most of the cargo space was dedicated to the hangar, but a small amount was kept in the bow of the ship for storage of the trac-reflective countermeasures used in the covert shroud manevuer. A repulsorlift generator was added to assist in getting particles out in front of the ship, and an rear-facing proton torpedo launcher was added.
