this young woman was a computer slicer. She and her partner Deke once broke into a backup computer maintained by the New Republic Intelligence agency, shortly after the Starbuster Plot was exposed, and stole secret information. They were eventually caught when a tracer, planted on Deke, led Lieutenant Prace to their position.
